There’s a little church with a lot of attitude on Route 302 in Newtown, Connecticut.  Newtown Christian Church is always coming up with little witticisms for to encourage heavenly thoughts to passers-by. For example, “Tough week?  We’re open Sunday”, and “Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil…it has no point”.

Newtown Christian Church began as a mission church in Bridgeport, and the current building was constructed in 1965.  Keep your eyes open for holy quips next time you travel 302.
