Dance Auditions for Danbury’s Nutcracker Ballet in Two Weeks

The Danbury Music Centre announces dance auditions for its annual production of the Nutcracker Ballet to be performed on December 13 and December 15, 2013, with the Danbury Symphony Orchestra. Performances will be at 7:30pm on Friday, December 13, and at 12:30pm and 4pm on Sunday, December 15. There will be no performance on December 14.

 

Auditions take place on Friday, September 20, and Saturday, September 21.

 

All roles in this fully staged ballet will be filled by open audition. While most roles are for experienced dancers with formal training, some roles require minimal experience or training. Children ages 7 years old and older, and teenagers and adults are invited to audition. Youngsters under 7 require special permission to audition.
