For those times when water can’t quench you, here’s an easy recipe for a lemon balm and mint iced tea.  This herb infusion will cool and calm you from the inside out: lemon balm is known for its calming properties, and mint can ease an upset stomach.

For those times when water can’t quench you, here’s an easy recipe for a lemon balm and mint iced tea.  This herb infusion will cool and calm you from the inside out: lemon balm is known for its calming properties, and mint can ease an upset stomach.

 

 

 

Ingredients

handful of mint

handful of lemon balm

raw sugar

water

ice cubes

 

Directions

1. Give your the herbs a wash and a quick massage.  Put into a heat-safe glass.

2. Add raw sugar to your tasting.

3. Pour in a few ounces of steaming water, enough to cover the herbs.  Stir and let sit for a few minutes.

4. Add ice and cold water.  Enjoy.

 

Serves 1.
