MARCH 1, 2010 – “THE EYE”

Struggling to find something to shoot today.

Nothing…

Nothing…

Nothing…

Nothing…

(Grab my empty glass and stick my lens into it.)

Interesting!

Snap.

Done.

Life is good!

MARCH 5, 2010 – “JUKE”

Tough day. Stressful day. Wonderful day.

Long, very stressful day at work today. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Went to see “The Laramie Project” at the Brookfield Theater for the Arts tonight. Two words: “Simply amazing!”

After the play, found ourselves at The Holiday… of course. Coffee… burgers… fries… conversation.

Thoughts about the play… and the issues and emotions of it all.

Thoughts about work… and the issues and emotions of it all.

Thoughts about life… and the issues and emotions of it all.

Realize that it’s almost midnight and I haven’t snapped a photo yet today. Reach into my bag… grab my camera… glance over at the juke box… focus… snap… capture.

Return to thoughts and conversations.

It has been a wonderful day!

MARCH 13, 2010 – “UNDERGROUND MOVEMENTS”

New York City…

42nd Street/Grand Central Terminal Subway Stop…

Underground.

Rain pounds the streets and people above…

But we’re safe here.

Safe in our own world of music and movements.

The 5-Train passes… and a moment is captured.

The 6-Train arrives… and the doors open with a two-tone electronic call…

… to carry me away into the dark tunnel of the New York underground.

And I smile…

… for I am truly “home”.

MARCH 20, 2010 – “RE-BORN

The first day of Spring…

A day of new beginnings…

A day of rebirth.

So I locked Holly in the hotel bathroom and made her pose from some shots.

Life is good!
