First Night Danbury, enjoying its 24th year as a family friendly New Year’s Eve celebration this 2012-2013, will salute “Danbury Fare”. The pun is intended, with memories of Danbury’s Fair history and its current proactive revitalization of a CityCenter Downtown hub. Through the efforts of its merchants, artists, residents, and others, Downtown is Happening!

On Friday, November 16 at 7pm, Two Steps Downtown Grille, located at 5 Ives Street in Danbury, will sponsor a benefit for this truly worthwhile cultural event, featuring a special four course dinner along with the comedy of Buddy Flip. Buddy’s brand of comedy is lovable, lyrical, and his comfortable rapport has made him immensely popular, with widespread appearances from Sesame Street Live to Comedy Central to the stages of Atlantic City and Las Vegas. Buddy will headline the Palace Danbury vaudeville on December 31 as First Night welcomes in the New Year.

This fabulous night, including a delicious four course dinner (see menu below), wine, drinks, laughter, and of course a First Night button, costs only $68.00 per person. To register your party call (203)794-0032 or email Tom Devine at  tom-twostepsrest@comcast.net
