For ‘Strange Little Books,’ Jamison Odone’s exhibition at The Mercurial, Odone conceived and created a whimsical installation displaying the original watercolor and ink paintings from his most recent book, Mole Had Everything, across the three gallery walls in seven yarn-and-nail, two-dimensional circles. Hanging from the ceiling in the center of the room is a slowly turning mobile constructed with Odone’s original “Dante trading cards”––small drawings accompanied by quotes from Dante Alighieri’s Inferno.
