Art and Frame of Danbury presents “Water & Wood”, original watercolors by Dennis Stuart and Zhu Aihua and hand made wood bowls and sculptures by Michael Aguis.

New Milford artist Dennis Stuart is well known for his watercolors of Connecticut landmarks, but now he shares with us a series of birds expressed in simple washes.

Aihua is a Ridgefield resident who is classically trained in the art of Chinese brush painting and carving. Her work has been perfected over 40 years of practice and teaching.

Michael Agius from Newtown turns bowls in his spare time. His works of art are expertly crafted and as unique as he is.

The opening reception will take place on Sunday, January 8 from 5-7pm at Art and Frame of Danbury, located at 60 Newtown Road in the Route 6 Plaza.

Refreshments will be served.

Music will be provided by the talented Kyle Neidig. He will be performing the guzheng and other assortment of instruments sure to put you in the creative mood.

The show will be on display through February 17.

The Art and Frame gallery is open seven days a week, Monday through Friday 10am-7pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, and Sunday noon to 5pm.
